Following WrestleMania, the future of WWE superstar Bayley has been a subject of much speculation, with even a WWE Hall of Famer voicing support for the “talented and underrated” wrestler.
Bayley participated in a six-woman tag team match at WrestleMania 39, teaming up with her Damage CTRL stablemates against the returning Trish Stratus and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Becky Lynch and Lita. Despite being on the losing side, Bayley took to social media with a cryptic message that read:
“And sometimes the most romantic love story comes to an end. Bye”
This post has fueled speculation that her time with WWE, which began in 2012, may be nearing its conclusion. Since then, she hasn’t posted on social media, and it has been reported that her scheduled appearance on Raw after WrestleMania was canceled.
WWE Hall of Famer Madusa has since weighed in on Bayley’s abilities, describing her as one of the most underrated talents in the industry and expressing interest in a potential match:
“Just an observation completely out of left field… Can I say @itsBayleyWWE is one of the most talented and most underrated woman’s talent of today. She deserves so much more! OK that’s it.. Bayley would definitely be a fun person to have a match with. ❤️”
Fellow wrestlers, including Mickie James, have responded to the post in support of the former multi-time Women’s Champion, with Dakota Kai also expressing her admiration in a separate tweet, stating, “I love you @itsBayleyWWE.”
