Jey Uso Celebrates Yeet Catchphrase Return to WWE

Fans of WWE’s Jey Uso have reason to celebrate as the Superstar’s popular catchphrase “Yeet” has made a triumphant return to WWE programming. The word, which had spawned both a social media trend and merchandise, was featured prominently on last night’s edition of WWE Raw.

Interest in the catchphrase peaked when Uso himself hinted at the comeback on his social media accounts. The anticipation came to fruition when he took to WWE’s Twitter to express his excitement about the return of “Yeet” to WWE screens, a sentiment echoed by fans across the WWE Universe.

The resurgence of the word comes after a period of uncertainty due to reported trademark issues. These concerns led to the term being noticeably absent from Jey Uso’s vocabulary, going as far as being blurred out in video packages. For instance, during the buildup to Jey Uso versus Seth Rollins on the December 4 edition of Raw, “Yeet” was conspicuously concealed.

With the issues apparently resolved, “Yeet” is not only back in Jey Uso’s lexicon but also taking over WWE Shop’s merchandise lineup. Two new items, a Yeet Pullover Hoodie and Tank Top, are now available for preorder, joining the ranks of already popular “Yeet” T-shirts listed as some of the top sellers in both Jey Uso’s and the T-shirt categories on WWE Shop.
