WWE previously announced that they will be having a major shakeup to their commentary teams in all of their programming, including WWE Monday RAW, WWE Friday SmackDown, WWE NXT and Premium Live Events as the WWE SmackDown commentary team will consist of Michael Cole and Wade Barrett, while Samantha Irvin will continue her ring announcing duties. Kayla Braxton and Megan Morant will be conducting backstage interviews.
The RAW commentary team will consist of Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick, while Mike Rome will continue his ring announcing duties, Byron Saxton will do backstage interviews and Cathy Kelley will return to also do backstage interviews. The NXT commentary team will consist of Vic Joseph and WWE HOFer Booker T, while Alicia Taylor will continue her ring announcing duties and McKenzie Mitchell will still be a backstage interviewer.
For the Premium Live Events, Michael Cole and Corey Graves will call the action and Pat McAfee is set to make his return to the WWE after he finishes up his ESPN College GameDay commitments. Jimmy Smith, who called the action on WWE Monday Night RAW for several months, took to his Twitter and revealed he is officially done with the WWE and that he had a lot of fun and met some great people.
