John Cena To Compete At Next Year’s WWE WrestleMania 39

WWE legend John Cena is considered by many as one of the greatest, if not the greatest Superstar ever and his 16 World Championships as well as his more than 20 years on top of the pro wrestling business is concrete proof of that. Cena was last seen on WWE TV on an episode of WWE Monday Night RAW in June when he celebrated his 20th anniversary with the company and he would be introduced by Vince McMahon.

It was also on that night when the 16-time World Champion was expected to announce his WWE SummerSlam Match with Austin Theory, but that didn’t happen as Cena instead revealed that he wasn’t sure when he would be wrestling again. WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport that John Cena is expected to be wrestling at next year’s WWE WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, but there is no word yet who he will be facing on The Grandest Stage Of Them All.

There were speculations that John Cena will no longer be competing for the WWE or will less likely be wrestling on a WWE Event following Vince McMahon’s exit from the company, but WrestleVotes noted that is not the case as Cena still loves the WWE and John Cena and Triple H have a ton of respect for each other. It was then mentioned that Cena wants to become “the next Rock” and a match at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles will definitely help with that.

This is what WrestleVotes said:

“I know he touches base every so often, and although Vince is out of the picture, Cena still has a love for this place. John Cena and Triple H have a respect for each other.”

“WrestleMania is still WrestleMania and it’s in Los Angeles. If Cena is legitimately trying to be ‘the next Rock’ you should perform at WrestleMania in Hollywood, and I think he’ll be there and I think it’ll be wrestling. I’ll leave it at that.”
