LA Knight Is Expected To Get A Megapush Going Forward

LA Knight is one of the most, if not the most popular and charismatic Superstar in all of the WWE and him being extremely over with the entire WWE Universe and the WWE higher-ups proves that. Despite his loss at the 2023 Money in the Bank Event, Knight got his big moment and the moment the fans have been clamoring for at the 2023 WWE SummerSlam Event when he won the Slim Jim SummerSlam Battle Royal.

Dave Meltzer said on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Knight is expected to get a megapush going forward due to the huge ratings his segments have been receiving on WWE TV as well as the strong merchandise sales he has had.

As previously reported, Knight is currently slotted as the top babyface on the SmackDown brand, which means he could be receiving a title opportunity sooner rather than later. LA Knight’s massive push is in full swing after defeating The Miz in Singles action at the 2023 WWE Payback Premium Live Event, with 16-time World Champion John Cena as the special guest referee as after the match, Knight got a big endorsement from Cena and this was reportedly a strategic move as Cena would not endorse Knight if he didn’t believe in what the WWE sees in him and is planning to do with him.

Knight and the WWE officials have been in talks about a new long-term deal with the company that is said to either be close to being finalized or has already been finalized. It was also mentioned by PWInsider.com that the contract extension is a five-year deal.
