LA Knight Slotted As The Top Babyface On WWE SmackDown

LA Knight is one of the most, if not the most popular and charismatic Superstar in all of the WWE and him being extremely over with the entire WWE Universe and the WWE higher-ups proves that. Despite his loss at the 2023 Money in the Bank Event, Knight got his big moment and the moment the fans have been clamoring for at the 2023 WWE SummerSlam Event when he won the Slim Jim SummerSlam Battle Royal.

According to WrestleVotes, LA Knight is currently slotted as the top babyface on the SmackDown brand, which means he could be receiving a title opportunity sooner rather than later. Knight got a win over The Miz at this past weekend’s WWE Payback Event in a Singles Match, with 16-time World Champion John Cena as the special guest referee. After the match, Knight got an endorsement from John Cena and this was reportedly a strategic move as Cena would not endorse Knight if he didn’t believe in what the WWE sees in Knight and is planning to do with him.
