Mia Yim Talks About Why She Re-signed With WWE

Mia Yim returned to WWE on November 7 after a one-year absence. In 2018, she joined the “NXT” brand, and in 2020, she was called up to “Raw” as a member of Retribution. WWE let her go after nearly a year of inactivity. Yim returned to Impact Wrestling for a five-month stay before returning to WWE after Triple H was named Chief Content Officer. Yim said why accepting another WWE contract was a simple option during a recent appearance on “Ten Count.”

Triple H. I have a lot of respect for him, and when I heard out he was taking over, he was reuniting all of my pals. It was the perfect moment and location. Working with ‘NXT’ under him has been a lot of joy. It’s so simple to talk to him that it was a no-brainer for me to return with him in command.

Yim returned this month when she was considered the solution to the “Rhea Problem.” Her return made The O.C. equal against The Judgement Day and it looks like she will be involved in some capacity during the match between AJ Styles and Finn Balor at this year’s Survivor Series.

Mia, on the other hand, has her own match where she joins Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka along with a mystery partner to take on the team of Damage CTRL and Rhea Ripley in a WarGames match. It would be interesting to see who turns out to be the mystery partner for the show.
