News On When Rhea Ripley Is Expected To Return To WWE

“The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax made her return to the WWE on the September 11 episode of RAW during the WWE Women’s World Championship Match between Raquel Rodriguez and WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. The Irresistible Force appeared at ringside and attacked Rodriguez, which allowed Ripley to capitalize on the attack, hit her Riptide finisher on Rodriguez and retain her championship. After the match, Jax would go on to attack The Eradicator, laying her out with a Bonsai drop and making her intentions perfectly clear that she wants Ripley’s WWE Women’s World Title, setting up a possible WWE Women’s World Title Match between the two powerhouses. Prior to her WWE RAW return, “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax made a brief cameo in the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match earlier this year.

Dominik Mysterio revealed on the September 18 episode of RAW that Ripley was injured and that was the reason why she was not with him, but according to reports, Rhea had to be writen off of television as she wanted to take some time off to go on a vacation and that was the reason for the Nia attack angle on Ripley. Since then, the WWE Women’s World Champion has been seen with All Elite Wrestling Star and her fiancé Buddy Matthews at the Carlton FC game in Australia.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select revealed during a Q&A that reigning WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is set to return from vacation by this week or shortly before the Fastlane Premium Live Event, but even though it has yet to be confirmed, it looks like the WWE will set up a Ripley vs. Jax Match.
