Reason Drew McIntyre Was Pulled From Last Weekend’s WWE Event

Top WWE SmackDown Superstar Drew McIntyre was originally set to compete at this past Saturday night’s WWE Live Event in Stockton, California, but was pulled from the show due to an illness. PWInsider.com reports that McIntyre was very ill with bad food poisoning and that is when the WWE made the decision to pull him off of the show and replace him with Braun Strowman.

The report also notes that McIntyre was in bad shape prior to this past Friday night’s WWE SmackDown, but was given an IV treatment by the promotion to help get him through his segment with Karrion Kross and Scarlett.
