Roman Reigns Reaches Another Huge Milestone In The WWE

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns, who won the WWE Universal Title at the 2020 Payback Premium Live Event in August of that same year, has been booked as a top star in the company for quite some time now and his win-loss record proves just that. Roman, who is considered by many as one of, if not the greatest wrestler in the modern era, possibly even of all time, would then go on to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and hold on to both championship titles at last year’s WrestleMania 38, when he defeated then-WWE Champion “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar in what was dubbed as “The Greatest WrestleMania Match Of All Time.”

Throughout his reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns has successfully defended his championship against the likes of Daniel Bryan, Edge, Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Cesaro, Finn Balor, John Cena, Goldberg, Sami Zayn, Matt Riddle, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar and LA Knight, but he did suffer a rare singles loss at the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event when he wasn’t able the answer the referee’s count of 10 while having Rollins in a guillotine choke.

This was Roman’s first loss in a Premium Live Event since he was eliminated by “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre in the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble Match. This also marked Roman’s first singles match loss at a WWE Premium Live Event since 2019, when he was hit by the End of Days from Baron Corbin in a TLC Match at the TLC Event.

According to Wrestle Features, Roman has surpassed four years since the loss to Baron Corbin in 2019, which marks the last time he was pinned in a Singles Match. Reigns has since suffered his first clean Premium Live Event loss at the 2023 Night of Champions Event, when he and Solo Sikoa lost to then-WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, with the Tag Team Titles on the line. Reigns and Sikoa then lost to The Usos at the 2023 WWE Money in the Bank PLE.

Reigns did successfully defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against LA Knight at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
