Several WWE Employees Expecting To Be Released Soon

A massive announcement was made this past April that WWE would be merging with Endeavor with both UFC and the WWE under the same umbrella, but with both companies still running as separate entities, with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon running the wrestling side of things and Triple H as the head of creative. It was then reported that the WWE merger with Endeavor Holdings is expected to happen sometime in mid to late September under the TKO Group Holdings name.

According to PWInsider.com, there is a sense of fear within the WWE with several employees feeling if they are not part of the production department or involved with the WWE talent somehow, then they are not safe and could be released because the WWE could be looking to cut those departments that are not needed. It was also mentioned on the report that releases have been expected and have been a topic of conversation among those working at WWE’s Global Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut specially with those departments that Endeavor already has people working in like travel.

It still remains to be seen exactly how many people will be fired, but it has already been made clear by Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel that employee cuts are definitely coming to avoid redundancy and a number of WWE employees have already been looking for a new job.
