The Rock’s Daughter Makes Her WWE Singles In-Ring Debut

WWE NXT Star Ava Raine (real name: Simone Johnson), daughter of WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, signed with the WWE in 2020 and started training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in that same year, but would unfortunately have to undergo a third knee surgery in September of the same year. Ava would then make her WWE NXT debut several months later and would compete in her debut match at WWE NXT’s 2023 Stand & Deliver Premium Live Event from Los Angeles, when she teamed with Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid to face Chase U (Andre Chase, Thea Hail and Duke Hudson) and Tyler Bate in an 8-Person Mixed Tag Team Match.

Ava didn’t made her WWE Singles in-ring debut yet until this past weekend, when WWE held an NXT House Show last Saturday night from Tampa, Florida and that match saw The Rock’s daughter pick up a massive win over Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile thanks to a distraction from Joe Gacy.
