WWE held their 2023 WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event last January 28th inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, with the show featuring 5 massive matches and the Undisputed WWE Universal Matchup as the main event. The match saw current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion “The Head Of The Table” Roman Reigns successfully defend his championship against Kevin Owens. Immediately following the match, The Tribal Chief and the rest of The Bloodline continued their brutal attack on Owens, with the exception of Sami Zayn.
Zayn then stopped Reigns from hitting Owens with a steel chair by stepping in between The Head Of The Table and Owens, but Reigns instead told Sami he should finish the job and hit his former best friend with the steel chair. Sami Zayn refused to do so and instead hit the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion with the chair, only to be beaten down by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso, while Jey Uso would just walk out of The Bloodline and head to the back.
A backstage segment would then take place during last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown between Jey Uso and Sami Zayn, where the two would fist bump after seemingly being on the same page following the WWE Royal Rumble Event. The WWE fans and the rest of the pro wrestling industry have since been wondering what the future holds for Jey Uso in The Bloodline.
“Main Event” Jey Uso took to his Instagram a couple of weeks back and said he is out of The Bloodline by writing on his post, “I’m out,” along with a red tear drop and a photo of himself in the ring just before he left after the viscous beat down The Bloodline delivered on Sami. Jey took to his Instagram once again and this time it looks like he is on the same page with The Bloodline as he posted a photo of a magazine cover that is inspired by a mid-90s Vibe Magazine featuring Death Row Record’s Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac and Suge Knight and the picture has himself, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns with the exact same pose.
There is no word yet on if Jey Uso is indeed back on the same page with The Bloodline, but if that is the case, then that is definitely good news for The Tribal Chief, especially with Elimination Chamber taking place later tonight because it looked like Jey Uso was really out of The Bloodline due to what happened with Sami Zayn at the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble Event.
This comes after Reigns instructed Paul Heyman to tell The Usos to stay home because there are things that they can see on TV that they can’t see when they are at the show, which implies that The Head Of The Table saw what took place between Zayn and Jey last week and he doesn’t trust them to back him up at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event later tonight. Dave Meltzer did note that The Usos have been cleared to go to Canada, so it’s possible that they will show up at Elimination Chamber.
