Top Free Agent Expected To Sign With The WWE

It was reported over a month ago that the WWE has shown interest in signing former top NWA Star Colby Corino to a contract following the announcement that the company has signed Dragon Lee as they are on the lookout for their next big star and they have plans to sign more high quality stars. According to Fightful Select, Colby Corino might be on his way to the WWE, but they were not legally able to reach out to him until his NWA deal expired.

There is no word yet on when Colby is expected to start with WWE, but he did announce on Twitter last January 2 that he is officially a free agent, which only adds more fuel to the speculation that he is heading to the WWE. Colby Corino is the son of Steve Corino, a former ECW Champion and who has worked as a coach in the WWE Performance Center since 2017. Colby has competed for companies such as ROH and the NWA, where he really made a name for himself.
