Top WWE Star Possibly Injured At WWE’s SummerSlam Event

The opening match of this past Saturday night’s WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event saw WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair successfully retain her WWE RAW Women’s Title against Becky Lynch. Immediately following the match, Bayley made her highly-anticipated WWE return, alongside Iyo Sky (Io Shirai) and
Dakota Kai, who was released from the WWE several months back. The WWE then teased a future storyline between Belair, Lynch, Bayley, Sky and Kai, but we could see the storyline be pushed back a few weeks or months due to Lynch possibly suffering an injury.

At some point during the match, it seemed that Lynch suffered a shoulder injury after she was was hit with a Jaded (Glam Slam) from Belair as Lynch’s arm was noticeably weak for the remainder of the bout and Lynch was even favoring her shoulder at certain parts during the match. There were quite a number of fans who speculated that Becky Lynch was just selling the injury, but people who saw her leave the ring after the matchup noted that she was still favoring her shoulder and that she even had the WWE’s medical team around her.

There’s no word yet on if Becky Lynch will be sidelined due to the injury and the severity of Lynch’s injury, but updates will be provided once it has been made available. There has also been no word yet from the WWE on Lynch’s status, but hopefully updates will be provided soon.
