WWE RAW Star Finn Balor has had one hell of a run over the past several years as he was the inaugural WWE Universal Champion by defeating reigning WWE United States Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins and he would even become the WWE United States Champion earlier this year before losing it to then-“Mr. Money In The Bank” Austin Theory on an episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.
Balor would then feud with The Judgment Day a few months ago when he teamed with The O.C.’s AJ Styles and SmackDown Star Liv Morgan to battle WWE Hall of Famer Edge, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley in a 6-Person Mixed Tag Team Match at WWE’s Hell In A Cell this past June, but would come up short. The next night on WWE’s Monday Night RAW, Balor would turn heel and join the Judgment Day, then he, Priest and Ripley would turn on Edge and leave him laying.
Finn Balor has since been an integral part of WWE Monday Night RAW and The Judgment Day and he’s been viewed as Triple H’s reclamation project. WrestleVotes mentioned to GiveMeSport that Balor and Triple H have always liked each other and Triple H views Balor as a reclamation project, but someone that he can get behind because of their personal relationship.
This is what WrestleVotes said:
“They’ve always, always really liked each other. Seeing what Finn has been over the last few years, Hunter sees almost like a reclamation project, but one that he can get behind because of their personal relationship.”
Finn Balor of The Judgment Day is set to go up against The O.C.’s AJ Styles in Singles action at this Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event.
