Two Companies In Contention For WWE SmackDown’s TV Rights

WWE currently airs their weekly episode of Monday Night RAW on the USA Network, while the promotion’s weekly episode of Friday Night SmackDown airs on FOX, but these exclusive TV rights are set to expire sometime in 2024 and since the promotion’s exclusive negotiation window with these two network giants have already expired and the negotiation talks about renewing their media television rights deals are done, this allows the WWE to remain in talks with other networks.

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that the two companies that are most in contention for the media television rights of WWE’s SmackDown are Amazon and Disney, but WWE’s RAW and NXT will probably stay with the USA Network.
