Veteran NXT Star Expected To Be Called Up To The Main Roster Soon

It was reported about a month back that former WWE NXT North American Champion and long-time NXT Star Cameron Grimes was expected to be called up to the WWE main roster once his feud with Joe Gacy of The Schism has wrapped up, but that feud has been over for a few weeks now and Grimes has not appeared on WWE NXT TV since, though he did make an appearance on an episode of WWE Main Event this past October, when he defeated Akira Tozawa in Singles action.

According to Fightful Select, Cameron Grimes was expected to be called up to the WWE main roster this past fall and since that has yet to happen, it is still unclear exactly when it will go down, but the WWE NXT veteran could be on his way to either WWE RAW or WWE SmackDown soon.

Prior to signing with the WWE back in 2019, Cameron Grimes competed in IMPACT Wrestling and the Indie circuit for quite some time and he would even become a 3-time IMPACT X-Division Champion and a 1-time IMPACT Tag Team Champion.
