Wrestling Rumors: Bayley’s Throwback Photo Sparks Speculations on Mercedes Mone’s WWE Return

As an avid pro wrestling reporter, I am here to fuel your WWE appetite with the latest buzz circulating around the arena. Our prime focus today is WWE star Bayley, who recently stirred up some intrigue in the circuit.

According to reports, Bayley delighted her fans with a subtly teasing throwback photograph on her Instagram story. The picture showcased herself alongside Kairi Sane, Asuka, and Mercedes Mone, also known as Sasha Banks in the ring. Bayley intriguingly captioned it: “I’ve always got a plan.”

These shared moments come at a pivotal time as Bayley, IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, and Asuka – drawn together under the Damage CTRL banner, are scheduled to face off against Bianca Belair, Shotzi, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair in an upcoming WarGames bout at the Survivor Series premium live event.

Interestingly, numerous fans have speculated about a possible discord brewing within the Damage CTRL formation, possibly leading to a surprise reveal at the Survivor Series event. However, the main theory coursing through the wrestling grapevine is centered around the potential WWE return of Mercedes Mone.

For those who need a refresher, Mone, a real-life pal of Bayley, has remained off-ramp due to a broken ankle incurred during her NJPW STRONG Women’s Title match at the May 21 NJPW Resurgence event. Despite making an unexpected appearance in the audience during AEW All In London, and AEW’s Tony Khan endorsing her as a solid addition to his team, Mone has remained tight-lipped about her future plans.

In related news, there’s ongoing chatter that CM Punk might make a surprise appearance at the forthcoming Allstate Arena show, corroborated by a remastered version of “Cult of Personality” by Living Color. For the uninitiated, this track was CM Punk’s iconic entrance song during his WWE tenures.

Before signing off, don’t forget to check out the finalized lineup for WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2023. And to all the London-based wrestling fanatics, grab your tickets for the WrestleTalk Survivor Series Watch Party at the Long Arm Sports Bar & Pub before they are all gone!
