WWE Adds Women’s Tag Title Match to King & Queen of the Ring Pre-Show

The One Big Thing

WWE has announced that Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Candie LeRae and Indi Hartwell on the King and Queen Of The Ring pre-show.

Key Details

  • The match will take place during the pre-show, which begins at 11AM EST due to the event being held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
  • This will be Belair and Cargill’s first title defense since winning the championships at WWE Backlash earlier this month.
  • LeRae and Hartwell last challenged for the titles at the 2024 Elimination Chamber kickoff show.

Queen of the Ring Semi-Final

Before defending her tag team title, Bianca Belair faced Nia Jax in the Queen of the Ring semi-finals on “SmackDown.” The winner will face Lyra Valkyria in the tournament finals at the King and Queen of the Ring event.

King of the Ring Semi-Final

Randy Orton battled The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga in the King of the Ring semi-finals on “SmackDown.” The victor will meet GUNTHER in the finals.

Why It Matters

The addition of the Women’s Tag Team Championship match to the King and Queen of the Ring pre-show adds more excitement to an already stacked card. It also provides an opportunity for Belair and Cargill to showcase their skills as champions, while giving LeRae and Hartwell another chance at capturing the titles.
