Charlotte Flair is one of, if not the most decorated WWE Women’s Champion in the modern era, possibly even of all time, but she hasn’t appeared on WWE TV for quite some time now and the WWE Universe have been speculating what could be the reason or reasons she has not returned to the company as she would also pull out from a recent big appearance.
The multi-time WWE Women’s Champion took to her Instagram stories and posted a photo of her wrestling boots, teasing a possible return to WWE TV soon, but there is no word yet on if she has been training and when exactly she could be making her return to in-ring action, though it was speculated Charlotte Flair could be returning at the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble Event this coming January as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
Dave Meltzer reported on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s creative is making plans for the return of Charlotte Flair, although it wasn’t revealed when that will happen and if she will remain in the blue brand or be moved to the red brand.
Charlotte Flair was last seen on WWE TV at WWE’s WrestleMania Backlash this past May when she dropped the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title to Ronda Rousey in an “I Quit” Match. Charlotte would then be written off of WWE TV as she was getting married to AEW’s Andrade El Idolo earlier this summer and wanted the time off for the most important occasion and moment in her life. Flair did note during her appearance on the WWE’s Most Extreme Moments Countdown special that she has been contemplating her return to the WWE.
