WWE Had Plans To Move Toxic Attraction Up To The Main Roster Without Mandy Rose

Toxic Attraction was one of the most dominant female factions in all of WWE NXT over the past year or so and they were made up of former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose and former WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin. WWE has been pushing the group for over a year, but for the last few months their momentum was derailed, most especially after Mandy Rose was let go from the WWE due to the adult content she was posting on a third-party platform.

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that the promo segment Toxic Attraction had this past Tuesday on WWE NXT was a topic of discussion, especially because Dolin and Jayne said their stable never had a leader and they never even mentioned Rose. Meltzer also noted that WWE did have plans to call Jayne and Dolin up to the main roster as a tag team without Mandy.

Jayne and Dolin did have a glimpse of being part of the main roster when they replaced Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament last August and they would even advance to the next round after picking up a big victory, but they were pulled from the tournament and were sent back to NXT.

This is what Dave Meltzer said:

“It’s what they have to do. They have to get past it. The plan was to call them up to the main roster without her anyway.”
