WWE May Have Something Planned For NXT Great American Bash

WWE will be holding their 2023 NXT Great American Bash Premium Live Event this Sunday, July 30 inside the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Austin, Texas and as of this writing, six matches have already been announced for the event, including WWE NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes putting his WWE NXT Championship on the line against Ilja Dragunov, WWE NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton putting her WWE NXT Women’s Title on the line against Thea Hail in a Submission Match and WWE NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day putting his WWE NXT North American Title on the line against Mustafa Ali and Wes Lee in a Triple Threat Match.

The company reportedly has something massive planned for this Sunday’s NXT Great American Bash as top WWE Superstar “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes spoke with Jimmy Traina of SI Media and noted that he might be a part of this Sunday’s event by doing a voiceover. This would be extremely special if it does happen as the Great American Bash was created by none other than Cody’s late father, WWE Hall of Famer “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, in the 1980s.
