In an exhilarating second night of WWE NXT Halloween Havoc held on October 31, 2023, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL, various wrestlers showcased their mettle in front of commentators Vic Joseph and Booker T. The action-packed night saw dominant performances, shocking returns, and remarkable accomplishments that blew the audience away.
On the night, The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus), known for their aggressive wrestling techniques, bested Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo in the ‘Tables, Ladders & Scares’ match. Brutus led his team to victory with a signature Brutus Ball pinfall move. However, the match between Tiffany Stratton and Fallon Henley couldn’t find a winner and resulted in a No Contest.
The NXT North American Championship witnessed defending champion Dominik Mysterio triumphing over Nathan Frazer with his spectacular Frog Splash pinfall. On the other hand, Bron Breakker, known for his brutal spear, managed to bring down the formidable Mr. Stone.
But the night was far from over. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship saw Piper Niven & Chelsea Green successfully defend their titles against the fierce duo of Thea Hail & Jacy Jayne. Both used their famous UnprettiHER pinfall to seal the deal.
The night truly belonged to Lola Vice, who overcame Kelani Jordan in a nerve-racking showdown in the 2023 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. Vice displayed an unremarkable level of resilience and nerve as she dodged a potentially devastating splitlegged moonsault from Jordan, swiftly retaliating with a spinning roundhouse kick that won her the match.
However, the biggest shocker of the night was the grand return of Wes Lee. After Dominik Mysterio’s victory, Lee blindsided him in a surprise attack while Mysterio was celebrating with Rhea Ripley. Lee then signaled his intention by defiantly hoisting Mysterio’s North American title, defiantly marking his return.
Another highlight of night two was the announcement of the NXT Heritage Cup Match between Akira Tozawa and Noam Dar, scheduled for the show on November 7th. Mickey Mouse instigated this feud after Tozawa stole Dar’s cup, leading to Dar agreeing to a match after a tense stand-off involving a horde of zombies.
With its electrifying moments, night two of WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 offered a captivating spectacle that has set the expectations high for future WWE events.
