WWE RAW Viewership Dips Ahead of Year’s End, Features CM Punk and Cody Rhodes

As WWE RAW approaches the final episodes of 2023, the red brand has been escalating its offerings to fans to close out the year on a high note. Despite these efforts, the latest viewership figures show a slight fluctuation as the year winds down. Wrestlenomics reports that the December 11th episode of WWE RAW drew in 1,466,000 viewers with a 0.46 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic—a slight downturn from the previous week’s figures.

The December 11th spectacle was truly a night to remember, boasting appearances by industry stalwarts such as CM Punk, who graced the second hour of the show, and a main event featuring Cody Rhodes against Shinsuke Nakamura. Such matchups underline WWE’s commitment to providing marquee encounters for its audience.

In comparison, the December 4th episode saw a higher viewership, attracting 1.533 million total viewers and a 0.49 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This demonstrates a drop from the November 27th episode, which brought in an impressive viewership of 1,884,000 and a 0.65 in the key demographic, marking it as a standout show.

Notably, the November 20th episode previously captured 1,459,000 viewers with a 0.49 in the 18-49 demographic. WWE RAW’s fluctuating numbers are influenced by various factors, including stiff competition from other broadcasting giants. For instance, WWE RAW faced a monumental challenger in the Eagles vs. Chiefs game on Monday Night Football, which became the most-watched Monday Night Football regular-season game in 27 years, with a massive collection of 28.96 million viewers across various networks.

WWE is pushing forward with dynamic programming to give the red brand a viewership boost as they tie up the remaining episodes of the year. Dedicated coverage and updates from outlets like Ringside News keep fans in the know about WWE’s strategic moves to maintain and increase viewer interest.
