WWE Star Angelo Dawkins Reveals His Home Was Flooded

The state of Florida had a terrible natural disaster when Hurricane Ian touched down on the area last September 28, which would result in deadly 150mph winds destroying all neighboring areas, with severe flooding and thunderstorms and homes were completely destroyed as well, including the home of WWE RAW Star Angelo Dawkins.

Dawkins took to his Twitter and revealed that his home was flooded due to Hurricane Ian and that he’s absolutely pissed off, but he was still in high spirits. Due to Hurricane Ian, changes were needed to be made by both the WWE and AEW to their plans on this week’s programming and shows as 2 WWE NXT Live Events had to be postponed until a later date and AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday did not see Swerve Strickland and ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe make an appearance.

There were also huge concerns with regards to travel in order to get into last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada as majority of the WWE talent were flying in from key Florida cities. Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s situation on a recent Wrestling Observer Radio program and noted that WWE was very worried about last night’s show because majority of their talent are from there and the hope was that they will be okay and that people can get from Tampa and Orlando to Winnipeg.

This is what Dave Meltzer said:

“I know WWE’s very worried about Friday’s show because they have so many people from there. The hope was that it’ll be okay and people can get there from Tampa and Orlando to Winnipeg on Friday.”

You can check out Angelo Dawkins’ tweet below. H/T to GiveMeSport for transcribing the quotes.
