AEW Dynamite Viewership Up Big For Fyter Fest Night 2 Episode

Last week’s episode of Dynamite, which was the company’s Fyter Fest Night 1 special, was able to draw a total of 1.025 million viewers, while last Wednesday night’s episode, which was the company’s Fyter Fest Night 2 special episode, was able to draw a total of 1.148 million viewers, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

This total is up 12% from last week’s AEW Dynamite episode, which drew a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 key demo. This rating is up 10% from last week’s rating of 0.40 in the 18-49 key demo. The rating of 0.44 in the 18-49 key demo represents around 575,000 total viewers who watched this past Wednesday night’s Dynamite from that demo. This is up 11% from last week’s 518,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.

Last Wednesday’s Fyter Fest Night 2 special episode of Dynamite featured Darby Allin vs. Wheeler Yuta in Singles action, Frankie Kazarian vs. IMPACT World Tag Team Champion Doc Gallows in Singles action, the 5 Labours Of Jericho Match pitting Chris Jericho against Shawn Spears, AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker retaining her title over Nyla Rose, and Lance Archer winning the IWGP United States Title from Jon Moxley in a Texas Deathmatch.

The viewership number of last Wednesday night’s Fyter Fest Night 2 special episode of Dynamite, which was able to draw the third-most viewers in AEW history and the second-most of this year, and was tied with the April 14th Dynamite for the best key demo rating of this year, was up 36% from the same week in 2020, which, at the time, went head-to-head against WWE’s NXT, while the 18-49 key demo rating was up 37.5% from the same week in 2020.
