Ratings for the Wednesday, January 13th, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite were released today. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 31st overall for the night. For the second week in a row, we all know why. The WWE Hall Of Fame person got impeached, again.
Dynamite drew 762,000 viewers up from last week’s 662,000 viewers. They finished 48th overall last week. Dynamite was taped this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. The show was the special New Years Smash Night #2. It featured Darby Allin vs. Brian Cage for the TNT Championship.
NXT drew 551,000 viewers down from last week’s 641,000 viewers. It finished 70th overall, last week they finished 68th. The show featured matches for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was slightly up to 1.313 million viewers. It was at 1.303 million total viewers last week.
Based on the ratings, CNN took 13 of the top 15 spots with MSNBC taking #13 and #14. Fox News’s top show came in at #22.
The top-rated non-news show was ESPN’s NBA game at 8 pm, which came in #16. MTV’s Challenge Double Agent came in at #18 and ESPN’s NBA game at 10 pm came in at #21. The NHL has returned and their games took the #23 and #27 spots. Real Housewives of The OC came in at #29, then AEW Dynamite.
In the 50 + demo AEW was 0.26, which was slighly down from last week.

Male viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.41
Viewers 18-34 – AEW: 0.15
Female viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.08

Viewers 25-54 – AEW: 0.37
Viewers 50+ – AEW: 0.26
