AEW Rampage Fast National Viewership, WWE SmackDown Numbers

Forbes and Wrestling Inc’s Alfred Konuwa reports that this past Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage was able to draw a total of 556,000 viewers in the fast overnight ratings and 267,000 average viewers in the 18-49 key demo. The final viewership number is usually about 3-7% higher than that of the fast overnight ratings, so the viewership number should be in the 572,000 – 594,000 range. Last week’s AEW Rampage episode was able to draw a total of 623,000 viewers, with a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 key demo and if the final viewership number follows the trend, then it means that Friday’s AEW Rampage numbers is down from last week’s episode.

AEW Rampage this past Friday night featured Bryan Danielson vs. Anthony Bowens in a Singles Match, an in-ring face-to-face confrontation between CM Punk and Eddie Kingston, Red Velvet defeating The Bunny in the final first round match of the AEW TBS Women’s Championship Tournament and Adam Cole defeating John Silver in Singles action.

WWE SmackDown, on the other hand, was able to draw a total of 1.978 million viewers with a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 key demo. According to Alfred Konuwa, the 0.5 rating represented around 663,000 viewers. WWE SmackDown more than doubled Rampage in the demo and in total viewers, although it should be noted that FOX reaches more households than TNT and SmackDown airs during prime time. Final numbers for AEW Rampage and WWE SmackDown will be available on Monday.
