“The Machine” Brian Cage is one of the most, if not the most explosive and intense wrestler in all of pro wrestling. He has competed for a number of promotions in the past, where he has amassed a massive amount of success and where he has won championship gold like Lucha Underground and IMPACT Wrestling. The Machine has also wrestled on several Indie wrestling shows like Maryland Championship Wrestling’s Last Call Event this past December 30th, 2021, where he beat Action Andretti in Singles action. Brian Cage has also competed for All Elite Wrestling, where it was reported on January 20, 2020 that he had signed with the promotion.
Brian Cage recently appeared on the Going Broadway podcast, where he revealed that there’s a plan for his return to AEW TV, but that is as much as he can disclose right now. Cage also revealed that there are several matches already in place for him in AEW, especially with the talents who joined AEW since last October. Brian Cage then mentioned that he has pitched a bunch of ideas for his return to TV and it is something that is most likely already being put into action.
Brian Cage made his AEW debut at the promotion’s Double or Nothing PPV Event on May 23, 2020, when he appeared as the surprise final entrant in the Casino Ladder Match. He has since been part of Team Taz and feuded with members of Team Taz as well as compete against top calibre talents such as Jon Moxley and AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page. Brian Cage last competed for AEW on the October 8 episode of AEW Rampage, when he challenged FTW Champion “Absolute” Ricky Starks for his FTW Title in a Street Fight and came out on the losing end.
