AEW Star Dax Harwood Pokes Fun At WWE’s “Leg Slap” Ban

WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon recently issued a brand-new edict wherein wrestlers will no longer be allowed to do leg slaps during their matches. The company has reportedly even placed a sign at the Gorilla position that reads, “do not slap leg when kicking.”

It was previously reported that during an episode of Being The Elite Matt Hardy, Christopher Daniels, and The Young Bucks decided to have some fun with this new edict issued by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon as they taunted him. The skit would see Christopher Daniels tell a joke which everyone laughed at and Matt Jackson then ended up slapping his leg. Matt Hardy would then point to a sign that read, “no leg slapping while laughing.”

This is not the only time AEW poked some fun at WWE’s “leg slap” ban as during an episode of Dynamite Don Callis, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega’s manager, did the same. While an interview with The Young Bucks was taking place, Callis interrupted and gave them a gift for the full recovery of their father in the form of a shirt that reads, “DO NOT SLAP LEG WHEN KICKING.”

AEW didn’t stop there as Dax Harwood took to his Twitter and posted a clip from the Six-Man Tag Match that took place this past Wednesday, with the caption, “Not a leg slap in sight.” Harwood is now part of MJF’s new group, The Pinnacle, along with Cash Wheeler, Wardlow, Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard.
