AEW Star Kip Sabian Reveals He Will Require Surgery

Last week’s episode of Dynamite saw a backstage segment, where Kip Sabian had a run-in with Miro. Kip Sabian was brutally beaten down by Miro and Miro even told him that it was time to “pay his dues” and suddenly slammed a metal door on Sabian’s wrist. This would lead to Sabian screaming in pain and Miro ending the segment by hugging Sabian and telling him, “I forgive you.”

Sabian recently took to his Twitter and revealed that he will need to undergo surgery. Even though it seems that Sabian is blaming Miro for his injury, Fightful Select reports that they were told back in late April that the reason why Kip Sabian hasn’t been in action in over a month after returning from an injury that sidelined him for a couple of months before that is due to Sabian being “on the shelf” once again, but they weren’t told about the specifics and severity of the injury.

It was also reported by Fightful Select that “Sabian tweeted that he needed surgery, and we were told that the attack by Miro is being used to explain that.”

Sabian last competed for AEW on the March 24th episode of Dynamite, where he and Miro lost the Arcade Anarchy Match to Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy. There is no word yet on how long Sabian will be out of action, but updates will be provided as it becomes available.
