This past March 15th, MJF (Maxwell Jacob Friedman) filed to trademark his “MJF” in-ring name with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for merchandise and wrestling purposes. He used the services of Michael E. Dockins, who has helped several AEW Stars in the past file their trademarks as well, to file his trademark.
Prior to signing with AEW, MJF has worked with a number of pro wrestling companies, where he has made a name for himself, including MLW. As soon as he worked with AEW, MJF has really elevated to a higher and different level.
When he started out with AEW, MJF was put in a heated and personal feud with The American Nightmare Cody after turning on him and costing him the chance to ever challenge for the AEW World Championship.
MJF has recently been involved in a feud with Chris Jericho by first joining The Inner Circle stable, but was then kicked out of the group as his intention was to destroy the Inner Circle from within and eventually replace Chris Jericho as the leader. After MJF was kicked out of the Inner Circle faction, he created his own stable called The Pinnacle.
