AEW Star Reportedly Spotted At IMPACT Wrestling Tapings

Fightful Select reports that AEW Star and pro wrestling legend Christopher Daniels was spotted at the backstage area during the most recent set of IMPACT Wrestling’s TV Tapings and it was speculated that he was there to compete in in-ring action, but there was no confirmation of this happening.

Daniels last competed for AEW this past May, when he and Frankie Kazarian, collectively known as SCU, went up against The Young Bucks, who, at the time, were the reigning and defending AEW World Tag Team Champions, in an AEW World Tag Team Championship Match, but came out on the losing end. The match had a stipulation, which they themselves came up with, that if they were to lose the match, then they can no longer team up and they would have to split.

It was also mentioned at the time that Christopher Daniels was retiring from wrestling, but it wasn’t made clear if the match he had with Frankie Kazarian against The Young Bucks was his last matchup. If Christopher Daniels does end up competing for IMPACT Wrestling, then this will be his first match for IMPACT in over 7 years as he last competed for IMPACT Wrestling (TNA) in 2014.
