AEW Star Thunder Rosa Reportedly Planning To Compete In MMA

Fightful Select recently reports that All Elite Wrestling Star Thunder Rosa, who works for the NWA as well, is still under contract with an MMA company Combate Americas until September, and fully expects to fight for them this year prior to her contract expiring. Thunder Rosa’s last bout for Combate took place back in November 2019, where she lost her debut fight to Nadine Mandiau via unanimous decision.

The report also states that according to Thunder Rosa NWA is supportive of her fight, but she has not had any conversations with AEW as it pertains to her fighting career.

Thunder Rosa is set to face Dr. Britt Baker in an Unsanctioned Lights Out Match on this week’s episode of Dynamite and it is set to be the main event of the evening.
