AEW Star Trent Filed To Trademark His Own In-Ring Name

Several wrestlers from different wrestling promotions have been filing to trademark their own in-ring names for a really long time now. The reason for this is that even though the wrestlers get released from a company or move to a different company on their own volition they still own the rights to their own in-ring names.

AEW Star Miro is one of those wrestlers, who was previously released from the WWE and has recently made his AEW debut. Another AEW Star who recently filed to trademark his own in-ring name is Trent.

This past September 30th, Trent filed to trademark the “Trent” name to the USTPO (the United States Trademark and Patent Office) via Michael Dockins of Shumaker, Loop and Kendrick, LLP.

Below is the use description Trent submitted to the USTPO (the United States Trademark and Patent Office):

“International Class 041: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
