AEW Could Bring Talking Smack Type Show to B/R Live

With only two weeks away from their debut show on TNT October 2nd. AEW has a lot of plans based around their TV weekly show. One idea is for AEW to add original content to one of their broadcast partners, B/R Live.

The idea would be to bring a similar show like WWE’s Talking Smack to B/R Live after their Wednesday night show. Dave Meltzer talked about AEW bringing their brand of Talking Smack during an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio

“I actually think AEW should do [their own version of] Talking Smack on BR Live and I know it’s been talked about. That they should do from 10:00 to 10:30 in the arena that they run after the show’s over go to the thing and have the guys show their personality and have them talk because I know that would help. It fricken helped save The Miz’s career so you give those guys a chance and some of those guys stand out in talking that you don’t get to see because that’s the perfect venue for it.”

It is still unclear if AEW will put together a live thirty-minute recap show after every weekly television episode airs. AEW has the backstage talent to pull off a thirty-minute show each week. With the likes of Chris Van Vliet and Tony Schiavone on board.

No one knows what TNT would think of the idea. The type of programing could give them an edge against WWE’s NXT broadcast on the same night. If they do, it wouldn’t be surprising if WWE brought back Talking Snack as well. WWE is doing everything they can to squash the upstart pro wrestling promotion.
