AEW To Run At Prudential Center In New Jersey This September

On March 25, 2020, All Elite Wrestling was originally scheduled to have a Blood And Guts Match happen between the Elite and the Inner Circle at the Prudential Center in New Jersey for the company’s debut in the New York/New Jersey area, but the match and the event did not push through due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A Blood And Guts Matchup would eventually take place on the May 5th Dynamite episode inside Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, with The Inner Circle taking on The Pinnacle (MJF, FTR, Shawn Spears and Wardlow) instead of The Elite.

AEW CEO Tony Khan recently spoke with WFAN’s Moose and Maggie, where he officially announced that AEW Dynamite will be making its way to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on September 15th.

This is what Tony Khan said:

“This is not the announcement but I’m very excited (about it).” “We’re going to be coming up and doing a show at the Prudential Center in Newark on September 15. This is a reschedule of a show we sold a ton of tickets for and had a ton of excitement around last year right when the pandemic started. And we’re really excited to be coming to the Prudential Center September 15.”

There’s no word yet on if AEW will be having another Blood And Guts Match at the Prudential Center in New Jersey as that was the original plan, but updates will be provided as it becomes available.
