AEW TV RATINGS: Dynamite Finishes 17th, NXT 26th, June 24th, 2020

Ratings for the Wednesday, June 24th, 2020 addition of AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT were released Thursday. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 17th overall for the night, WWE NXT finished 26th.

AEW drew 633,000 viewers way down from last week’s 772,000 viewers. They finished 8th overall last week. Dynamite was live this week at Daily’s Place again in Jacksonville Florida. The final show before Fyter Fest next week.

Dynamite featured at Lumberjack match between Luchasaurus vs. Wardlow. Then they finished with a confrontation between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy.

NXT drew 786,000 viewers up from last week’s 746,000 viewers. It finished 26th overall, just down from last week’s 25th overall. The show featured Keith Lee beating Finn Balor and Johnny Gargano to retain the North American Championship. Again using main show talent on its third-tier show.

The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was down to 1.419 million viewers. It was at 1.518 million viewers last week. It looks like the NXT audience stayed steady, the AEW was way down. This could be a sign to comes as Fyter Fest goes head to head with NXT’s Great American Bash for the next two weeks.

Based on the ratings, Fox News dominated the top 5 with 3 shows. News accounted for 9 shows in the top 15. MTV’s Challenge: Total Madness was first for the night and Guys Grocery Games on FOOD came in fourth.

Viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.22 / NXT: 0.19
Female viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.15
Male viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.29
Viewers 18-34 – AEW: 0.12
Female viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.08
Male viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.12
Viewers 25-54 – AEW: 0.27
Viewers 50+ – AEW: 0.26
