AEW’s Cezar Bononi Asks Help For Wife’s Leukemia Treatment

One of AEW’s fastest rising star in Cezar Bononi recently took to his Twitter and asked fans for help with his wife’s Leukemia treatment. Bononi noted that he usually doesn’t do this, but desperate times needs desperate actions.

Bononi also mentioned that his sister-in-law is a matching donor for his wife’s Leukemia treatment, but without a bone marrow transplant, there’s an 80% chance of this disease coming back.

Bononi also noted that Brazil’s health system is overloaded because of COVID and they are not able to withdraw the bone marrow of his wife and send it to the U.S. before April 27th.

Bononi also said that the doctors have noted that his wife needs a transplant on the 1st of April and that they applied for an emergency visa, but their request for an interview was not granted. Bononi then said they tried to call the U.S. Embassy in Brazil, but they said that they cannot help. Cezar Bononi then noted that if somebody, somehow can help, his family will truly appreciate it.

This is what Cezar Bononi said:

“I usually don’t do this, but desperate times needs desperate actions.” “My sister in law is a match donor for my wife’s Leukemia treatment, without a bone marrow transplant there is 80% chance of this disease coming back. Brazil’s health system is overloaded because of covid and they are not able to withdraw her bone marrow and send it here before April 27th. The doctors said that my wife needs a transplant on the 1st of April. We applied for a emergency visa and they did not accepted a request for interview. We tried to call the US Embassy in Brazil but they said that they cannot help. If somebody, somehow can help, my family will truly appreciate it. God bless you all.”

WWE NXT Star Drake Maverick then responded to Bononi’s tweet and told him to check his DM.
