AEW’s Chris Jericho Files To Trademark An Interesting Term

Last November 12th, All Elite Wrestling Star “The Ocho” Chris Jericho filed to trademark “The Jericho Era” term with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for clothing and for merchandise purposes. Jericho had the trademark filing done via Atty. Michael E. Dockins, who has helped a number of AEW wrestlers file their trademarks in the past and the trademark filing was was done on behalf of The Ocho’s Chris Irvine Inc. corporation.

Chris Jericho is recognized as one of, if not the greatest professional wrestler in the pro wrestling industry as he has been successful in every pro wrestling promotion he has worked for and he has even won championship titles in every major pro wrestling promotion. Chris Jericho was the biggest signing in AEW history when the promotion was established back in January 2019 and he was even the first-ever AEW World Champion.

Jericho has since introduced the two biggest stables in all of AEW, which is The Inner Circle and The Jericho Appreciation Society and he has been one of the staples of All Elite Wrestling. Chris Jericho has been known by a number of monikers in AEW including The Demo God, The Influencer, Le Champion and The Wizard, but he is now being referred to as “The Ocho” for being an 8-time World Champion. There’s no word yet on when Jericho will be using “The Jericho Era” term and when it will be available at the company’s merchandise website, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.

Below is the use description submitted to the USPTO:

“Mark For: THE JERICHO ERA™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of hats; Shirts; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.”
