AEW’s Wardlow Calls Out MJF for Stealing His Identity

One Big Thing

AEW star Wardlow has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to call out former AEW World Champion MJF for allegedly stealing his identity and disrespecting him for far too long.

Key Points

  • MJF recently unveiled a new t-shirt that plays into the idea of him being a “lone wolf”
  • Wardlow claims MJF is trying to be a “6’3 270lb monster athlete” like him and is stealing his whole identity
  • Wardlow defeated MJF in under eight minutes at Double or Nothing 2022
  • Wardlow’s affiliation with Adam Cole and the Undisputed Kingdom was brought together over the idea of getting revenge on MJF

Why It Matters

The ongoing tension between Wardlow and MJF highlights the long-standing rivalries and personal grudges that shape the dynamics within AEW. As two prominent figures in the company, their unresolved issues could potentially lead to future high-stakes matches and storylines that will keep fans engaged.

What’s Next

While MJF is currently dealing with former ROH World Champion Rush, Wardlow’s comments suggest that their feud is far from over. It remains to be seen if and when these two will clash again in the ring to settle their differences once and for all.
