Alex Boniello Praises MJF/Jericho, Says Tony Award Is Theirs

Hollywood Actor and Tony Award-winning producer Alex Boniello, who is best known for his portrayal of Moritz in the 2015 Broadway revival of Spring Awakening, recently took to his Twitter account and congratulated as well as gave high praises to MJF and “The Demo God” Chris Jericho for their performance on this past Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite. He also said that he was relinquishing his Tony Award to MJF and Jericho.

Alex Boniello tweeted,

“This is good. I hereby relinquish my Tony Award to @IAmJericho and @The_MJF.”

Alex Boniello’s tweet was a response to a tweet from the AEW on TNT Twitter account, which called the MJF and Jericho segment choreographed musical “Pure Excellence” and worthy of a Tony Award nomination.

MJF and Chris Jericho had a steak dinner segment on Dynamite this past Wednesday night and performed a Rat Pack song (“My Shadow and Me” by Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.).

Chris Jericho and MJF danced quite a bit as well with several women. In an actual broadway-style performance, they sang an entire song in a choreographed segment. The song lyrics included several insults directly targeting Orange Cassidy, Cody Rhodes, and a few other AEW stars.
