Anna Jay Requires Surgery And Could Be Out For A Year

On Monday evening AEW will be airing another installment of their Women’s World Title Eliminator on their Youtube channel. Unfortunately, Anna Jay has picked up a serious injury and will not be able to compete.

The company earlier today released a statement where they confirmed Anna Jay had injured her shoulder and is expected to be out for a significant period of time.

After this announcement was made Anna received a ton of support online from fans of AEW as well as her colleagues. This news will be devastating to Anna as she was building up a lot of momentum and for it to come to a halt so abruptly will certainly be a challenge for her.

Maybe when she makes some form of recovery she can make appearances on the show which can lead to some excitement about when she will be fit to wrestle again. This has been done many times before when up-and-coming wrestlers’ momentum has been stopped by serious injuries.

For now, though she will have to come to terms with the bad news, and hopefully in her time away from the ring, she will become an even greater prospect.
