Bray Wyatt’s WWE Non-Compete Clause Will Expire In Two Days

WWE released Bray Wyatt from his contract on Saturday, July 31st reportedly due to budget cuts, but a number of reports also mentioned that it was due to creative differences and that they couldn’t agree on Wyatt’s future in the company. It was expected that Wyatt will be making his debut with AEW on the September 29 episode of AEW Dynamite in Rochester, New York, the hometown of the late Brodie Lee, who was Wyatt’s close personal friend, but that obviously didn’t happen as Bray had to negotiate with the WWE to release him from his non-compete clause similar to what Chelsea Green and others have done.

There were then reports that indicated that if Bray Wyatt does end up in All Elite Wrestling, then he will make his debut at the Full Gear Event on Saturday, November 6th as his 90-day non-compete clause with the WWE is set to expire on Friday, October 29th, a few days prior to Full Gear.

There were also reports saying that if Wyatt does not end up in AEW, then he may sign with IMPACT and make his debut at their Bound For Glory Event as IMPACT Wrestling has shown a lot of interest in Bray Wyatt and there is a possibility that he may end up in IMPACT with fellow former WWE Star and partner Braun Strowman, but those close to Bray Wyatt are saying that there are no plans for him to sign with IMPACT Wrestling and obviously he didn’t appear at Bound For Glory.

Dave Meltzer revealed on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that both All Elite Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling have shown interest in signing the former WWE Star and several reports have made it clear that Wyatt is expected to join AEW, but Tony Khan said in an interview that he has not spoken with Wyatt, though he is interested in speaking with him when the time is right.

Bray Wyatt took to his Twitter a little while back and mentioned that his non-compete clause with the WWE is set to expire in 2 days. The former WWE Superstar is reportedly expected to use his real name, Windham Rotunda, moving forward.
