Britt Baker Possibly Injured During Last Night’s Dynamite

Last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw AEW Women’s World Champion “The Native Beast” Nyla Rose and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D defeat Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander in a Women’s Division Tag Team Match.

Sometime during the match, Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander picked Nyla Rose up and threw her down on Britt Baker, who was sitting somewhere in the corner of the ring. The AEW Women’s World Champion would then land terribly hard on Britt Baker’s knee and she looked to be in severe pain immediately after taking the hit. Baker was then favoring her knee as she and Statlander continued to wrestle each other.

The Native Beast would then eventually tag herself in and Britt Baker would not be allowed to return to the match as the ringside physician would check on her. Following the match, Britt Baker would then be helped to the back. Baker is scheduled to take on Statlander at Saturday’s Double Or Nothing PPV Event, but if her injury will be categorized as something that is serious then things could change.
