Chris Jericho Teases Possible Match Against Sting In AEW

Sting is one of the biggest, if not the biggest legend in all of pro wrestling. His run in WCW is one of the most talked-about and iconic runs in pro wrestling history. Sting made the headlines yet again when he surprised the pro wrestling world and made his debut in AEW after being in the WWE for years.

Sting recently signed a multi-year deal with AEW after making an appearance on the “Winter Is Coming” episode of Dynamite. Sting’s signing with AEW has the fans excited on all the possible matchups Sting can have in the company.

A fan recently took to Twitter and posted a graphic for the potential AEW Match between Chris Jericho and Sting, which was dubbed as a “Stinger vs. Painmaker” Match and if happens would be the first-ever match between the two pro wrestling legends.

Chris Jericho would then take to Twitter and respond to the graphic with, “Hmmm….. @aew”

Based on a number of reports, AEW does not have plans for Sting to wrestle, so it is unlikely that we will see Sting face Chris Jericho, but the company does intend to use Sting as a regular character on television. Sting will speak for the first time ever since signing with AEW during tonight’s Dynamite in an interview with Tony Schiavone.
