Christian Has Signed With All Elite Wrestling At Revolution

It was previously reported that Paul Wight announced on his official debut with AEW that a huge “Hall of Fame worthy talent” signing will take place at the Revolution PPV. AEW President and CEO Tony Khan then appeared on AEW’s Unrestricted podcast and said that what Paul Wight said is absolutely true and that a major star in the world of wrestling, a huge, huge star is going to come and sign a multi-year contract with AEW at the PPV.

During last night’s AEW Revolution PPV, it was revealed that the huge star is Christian Cage and that he has signed with AEW. Christian Cage made his way down to the ring, didn’t utter a word, signed his AEW contract and left the contract in the ring. He then revealed his brand-new AEW shirt, “Out. Work. Everyone.”

Christian was reportedly under contract to the FOX Network and not WWE as he was on the WWE Backstage show that has since been canceled. WWE and Christian Cage were reportedly in talks and they had shown some interest in signing him, however, talks apparently fell through. Christian returned to action at the WWE Royal Rumble Event this past January after an absence of nearly seven years.
