Cody Says Ogogo Will Be AEW’s First Developmental Project

As previously reported, All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes recently made a huge announcement that the company has signed former English boxing Olympian Anthony Ogogo.

Cody then took to Twitter not too long ago to reveal more details on AEW signing Ogogo. According to Cody, Ogogo will be All Elite Wrestling’s first-ever developmental project as a company.

As mentioned before, Ogogo already has a little bit of experience in the world of pro wrestling as back in February of this year he made his official pro wrestling debut in his hometown of Lowestoft, England for World Association Of Wrestling (WAW).

It was also mentioned that in 2012 Ogogo won a bronze medal in boxing’s Middleweight division at the London Olympics. Just 4 years later, Ogogo would officially retire from active competition in the world of boxing with a professional record of 11-1.
