Details On Hardy vs. Guevara “Broken Rules” Match At All Out

It was previously reported that a “Broken Rules” Match between Matt Hardy and “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara has been made official for this Saturday’s AEW All Out PPV Event. The match was announced and confirmed on AEW’s latest episode of the “Road To” YouTube series, which focused on this Saturday’s AEW All Out PPV Event.

Sammy Guevara challenged Matt Hardy to a match at All Out and said that he could pick the stipulation. Hardy would then accept Guevara’s challenge and said that they will be facing each other in a “Broken Rules” Match.

The rules of the “Broken Rules” Match are as follows:

  • The winner will be determined when one competitor cannot answer the referee’s 10 count and his opponent is the last man standing, which is similar to a Last Man Standing Match.
  • The finish of the match can reportedly take place anywhere, but there must be a decisive winner.
  • Matt Hardy must leave AEW forever if he loses the match.

The feud between Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara has become so personal and so out of control that only a stipulation such as this can end things between them once and for all. Guevara busting Hardy’s head wide open with a chair and making him bleed profusely is what started this heated rivalry. Hardy also made Guevara bleed profusely when they faced each other in a Tables Match on Dynamite a couple of weeks ago.
